gday guys. need to change my thermo fan motor on my 97 mk3. i have a spare one ready to go on. do i have to take front bumper/grill/ everything else off just to fit the fan motor??? or is there another way?? ta

Taking the front end of the mk3 off is really easy, literally 4 bolts I think it is and the whole thing comes off. Not sure if its neede to do the fan motor, would probably make it easier thoughsigpic -
Yeah there are 2 10mm bolts on the top of the front guards, then pop the dummy lights out of the front bar and there are 2 13mm bolts behind them on each side.
Undo these and you can move the whole front panel forwards. Takes 2 minutes to do it!Comment
