Is the tool like a pirate's hook? There should be notches on the spring perch in which you can catch on to with that tool, and you should be able to spin the perch with it. There's usually a bolt that loosens and tightens the perch, usually one that requires an allen key.

Yes yes, the pirates hook. So far its proved very useful as a back scratching tool!

No idea on the allen key bit, will have to take a look.

Can you make lowering adjustments without jacking the car up??

                    Oh... gay.

I only want to drop the front a smidgen... maybe 1cm? If I could just tap down on the bonnet until it was where I wanted it.

and why cant it be like on need for speed? Tap up and down to adjust the height...

Bit of a question, since the KWs have gone in, i keep hearing mysterious groaning noises coming from the underside of the car when driving along. Mostly on bumpy roads I think. Could this just be the coil overs settling in?

For my car, the groaning noise comes from the doors and seals. Since the coilovers are so much stiffer than usual, I reckon it puts more strain on the chassis, and so the car would be twisting.

I've got KW V2's as well. Have you found that you're going around corners stupidly fast now?

hey matty, having fun around corners ? I had some mysterious sounds on bumpy roads too, but "taping". Rayray unbolted the top strut and realised that one of the bolts wasn't even finger tight..only matter of tightening the bolts.
As malteser pointed out could be from stiffness, I have some of that when the car is cold, backing out of driveway, bouncing on the guter gap.. the rear roof sounds like a sinking titanic, where metals are about the snap .

Sweet, coilovers cause cars to break!

I'll make a point of checking bolts n stuff tomorrow when I wash my green german violence.
