heey to anyone iterested in reading another guys 95' vr6 thread..

so i bought a vr6 2 wks ago and i had known about a few problems before hand which i was prepared to fix such as a new radiator, thermostat housing, over-flow bottle and cap, rocker cover gasket and the slave cylinder.. and yet another part in the cooling system failed me yesterday, i took the part out with great ease and now i wait untill tomorrow morning to run to a parts centre for a replacement piece of plastic, **** times cos its a nice day and i need my windscreen to be fixed tomorrow out at camden GTI but i cant untill my car comes back to life.. all im trying to do is bring it as close to new as i can and then start fixing up the performance and looks side of things..

i'll put a few photos up here later on tonight, mind you its a ****ty i-touch camera haha..

I tend to think its more hate then love at least from the cars view.

But, it is really worth it all for that VR growl.

so im gonna put more pics up in a hurry to get to camden gti.. the gold pipe is some bypass thing i made up for myself yesterday so i could drive my car to camden gti this morning for a fresh windscreen( i'll show photos later tonight that reveal 1 massive crack and another decent one, driverside)

hahaha i know, i know, thought it was funny, thanks heaps dude im looking forward to some fun projectlike times..

anyone either got no use for a half decent set of coil overs or know someone selling some/ advice for whats working best these days please?

oooh and guys i have no photos mid working on my vr just yet as i was eager to just fix all the **** it had wrong asap and go from there so i will take some photos when im mid doing **** from now on ahaha..

got a new windscreen yesterday down at camden gti(dudes there are all sweet) i got a photo of the gnarley cracks in my windscreen too, here are some photos of the damage

as you can see its a massive crack that makes a 90degree angle and another thats in the shape of an arc which is about 30-40cm long..

ohoh and check out what the garbo did to my paint and when i chased him up the street, he tries to say "i didn't ****in do it" which i had found especially hilarious as i watched him knock 2 bins over in the street before he had finally collected my car also..

slave cylinder, auxillary water pump bypass and overflow bottle are at top of page and the rocker gasket is obviously not quite visible but i did it also..

anyone know about what goes on with the the LED wiring of angel eyes and where to hook it up to as i have seen a couple things saying something about ELODS? im noob on electrical shiet..?

make a complaint to the council dude! Get a quote for repair and send it to them! they will fix it.

heeey dude, ye i sent my quote in yesterday haha i got a dude to do it for $1550 and he then had a mate send him a quote for

$1700 so i could go with the $1550 as he must do a good job if the yard he owned was full of brand new mercs, vw, audi etc..

what type of coil overs are they/age/condition/im already fairly intersted haha.. thanks dude

sounds siik as i want to grab these angle eye head lamps from a dude i know, but i dont know how to get the LEDS wired up to the mk 3 wiring, matt from camden said something bout into your side lights i think?.. oh and anyone know how much angles retail for brand new/2nd hand?
