I did my one with Tim
We used a screwdriver and a hammer and it did come after a while.
I dont know maybe put some WD40 or something to lube it up and it might become a little easier

Help em out rayray, the bentley is at ur house!! Haynes manual says once u have the plastic securing ring off, turn the pump/sender unit to the left to release it from its bayonet fitting. Then lift it out.

And no, fuel tank does not need to be removed if u look inside ur boot theres a black cover and thats where u access it.

Hammer and screwdriver to undo that ring.

Push the pump down and turn to the left. Then just lift it out.

A large pair of multi grips works too, but they have to be big!!!!

ive done a couple now and this is the key once youre inside the tank! u have to turn it anti clockwise as it has a base in the bottom of the tank that it locks into.
