  • I require some bushing!

    I do indeed require some bushes for my planned suspension upgrade.

    Does anybody know where i can purchase PROTHANE stuff from? Preferably in aus, but if it has to be the US then thats okay too!

    Thanks

        Why prothane?

        www.superpro.com.au are an Australian supplier, I have my dogbone bushes being made by them as we speak, they advised it would take 1 week!

        But as I do not know your situation, maybe prothane has a greater selection of bushes available...

        Here are some other links;

        SuperFlex Ltd - Suppliers of Polyurethane Car Suspension Bushes for Classic Cars, Modern Cars and other vehicles (ships worldwide) - Website: www.superflex.co.uk - Email: admin@superflex.co.uk - Tel: +44 1749 673533 - Located in Wells, Somerset, England.

        Hope this info helps!

          I'd like a thin pan pizza with THE LOT on it please!

          Control arms, rear axle pivot, strut top mounts, pretty much everything.

          Funny though, I just got an email from the place thats going to be doing all the work. They say I shouldnt bother, yet every other joint i've spoken to recommends a full overhaul due to the cars age

          EDIT: Didnt see the superpro stuff. Yes I found them earlier today, and after a bit of a think I think I'd like to buy aussie They dont appear to make strut top mounts for mk3 VR6 though.

          Who are you getting the SuperPro off? SuperPro themselves or someone else?

                And the verdict? Looks like a handy kit, and much cheaper than the $93 I was quoted for Superpro for control arms only, curious to know your opinion on it.

                  93 for controls only?

                  I havent gotten any prices on superpro yet, but if its anything like that then i'll be ordering that prothane pack.

                    I got some bushing in my garage if you are interested. I wanted to put them in during my last suspension upgrade, but it never happened.
