Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Looking at some 4x100 wheels that came of an e30 for my mk3 gl, 15x7's with an offset of 23.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how they would sit ? And if anyone has ran anything similar ?

Should sit very nicely, I'd go for it

Will poke 26mm more then standard vr6 wheels. I don't know the dimensions of base model wheels but they shouldnt be much different

Those are near identical sizes to my zender turbos (15x7 et20 IIRC) fronts will sit pretty dead on flush with the guard. Rears need a 10mm spacer to have them sitting the similarly.

Here's how mine sit without the 10mm spacer in the rear.
