Definately worth looking at, if you are in the market for a VR6 MK3 in the best possible condition with stock originality.

Stunningly original and pristine Mk III Golf VR6. Possibly one of the last unmolested examples.

    Cheers,
    Robert

that looks like a beautiful example..... $10,300 is quite steep but hopefully at that price it doesn't end up in a 10 y.o possesion and gets farked up

How much do you think it's worth?

I wouldn't be surprised if someone on here snaps it up.

VR6s vary on price mate, some sell for 3k for a rough one and up to around 7.5k for a schmick one

really hard to say how much that one is worth without actually looking at it

but at the end of the day its worth as much someone is willing to pay

Saw this on carsales it looks fantastic!! But the price may put it out of most peoples price ranges if they're looking for a VR... If I had the money I know I'd snap it up

This looks familiar... Name doesn't check out to be who I thought the owner is though.

Very clean and nice car - I've seen all those photos on here before though, the first one if I remember correctly is the person's display pic.

owned by the bloke that had a peugeot with a V6 in it too, I think.

Price is quite high, even if it is immac condition. I guess the market will be the true test though!

Looks very nice, but i doubt would ever sell for that much. I wouldn't think its worth anything more then say 7500-8000. Its probably coming up to needing chains etc.

It is immaculate. Wish you well on the sale. Another way of looking at it, is what else can you get for $10K

Well I picked my old vr6 which was probably just as immaculate (dare not say even nicer as I havent seen this car in person) and 100% original, with only 90k on the clock for a lot less then that. An untouched vr6 isnt that hard to come by, theres plenty of them out there. The majority for sale normally havent been modified anyway, although at the moment theres not a lot of choice on the car sale sites.

But hey, you never know, someone may bite and fork out a rediculous amount for it becuase they don't have the patience to wait for another to pop up (hell thats why I flew to sydney to buy one when there wasnt a single one for sale in qld and couldn't wait)

Damn thats a nice car! I'd pay probably 8K max for it though. Good luck on the sale though!

Car looks awesome, it's nice to see a VR6 in such condition.

10k is high though, i'd expect something like this to go more for around 7k.

sydVR6 aka Reef. Damn mate why are you selling this one aswell! I haven't seen the car personally but I do know about how immaculate this is. One small thing though - "electronic diff lock (traction control)"

VR6s have a stone-age traction control system that runs through the ABS system, just jabs at a wheel if its spinning a lot more than the other, no LSD.
