  • Keyless push button starter???

    hello!

Is there anyone ot there who knows about these and whether or not they can be installed in a MkIII? I saw some on youtube, but you still had to insert a key in the ignition...

you need to set up an ignition that involves a proximity sensor for the key, which will be coded to it. You need to do it this way, or someone can just push a button and start your car. But set up thi way, you dont need to put the key in the car - just have it on you.

You should be able to find a kit to retro fit to your car somewhere

Yeah a proximity sensor would be the way to go, wouldnt have to use the key to open doors either. I've thought about it tioo and dont think it would be too hard, never looked into it further though. Would be pretty cool

Have always wanted to do it, but its one of those things thats so far down the list I'll probably never get around to it.

I never really found a good looking "Start" button either. Plenty of stuff for rice burners, but no stylish looking buttons for us euro trash
