Without a leveling device or very precise gauges I find it soooooo hard to get it set every time I drive...it's annoying as!

True that, I only have analouge gauges and switches and just try and set it at around 25psi front and 30 back and drive it like that, never too worried about how exact I get it, I don't think it makes a huge difference. Doesn't matter how I set it though I can never get it not to pull to one side (well maybe if I just pumped one side up really far and kept the other slammed or something, but thats just silly haha). Would love e-level or something with all the presets and height sensing, that would be amazing.

One of the fittings for one of my gauges leaks a tiny bit for the rear right, so that one leaks down slowly and I have to adjust that every now and then while driving. Been meaning to get a new fitting, but haven't had any luck finding a female 1/4NPT to 1/8 PTC fitting locally and shipping for just one thing from overseas is ridiculous haha

For real, lower if the roads are nice haha, i scrape over cats eyes at the height I have my wheels aligned at I've worn through the part of the subframe that covers the control arms and have started to grind through those too from just daily driving, I think i may need to drive it a bit higher before **** starts breaking haha

Although I only have a tiny 1.8 and not a heavy vr6 in the front which makes a big difference to how many psi is needed, cant really compare height like that

Definitely worth having gauges, no idea how you can drive around without them My setup came with two dual needle easystreet gauges like these EASYSTREET DUAL NEEDLE GAUGE - BAG RIDERS

And as I think we talked about before, you just run some small lines from the outlets on the otherside of the vu4 to the gauges

Yep its annoying getting out of the car to see my ride height.
Just the fact of where My VU4 is has put me off doing this.

Gauges look sweet think thats what ill be getting .

I got a bit carried away and got Dakota Digital's quad pressure gauge. Also reads out tank pressure too.

One of those digital gauges would be very nice, with one of those you would just have the pressure senders at the vu4 and would just have to run wires to the gauge. Although the 1/8th lines I ran for mine are pretty small really and were't hard to run to the front if thats what's been putting you off. Not sure what fittings and all you would need to buy and what comes with different things as everything I needed came with my kit

That digital gauge is very nice I might look into that one of its not too expensive.

Whats put me off, nothing just lazy lol.

Been a bit of stuff happening to the car since the last update, although I' feeling far too lazy to go into detail right now. Got a major defect for driving 2 cm above laying frame and had the car towed home, a fistfull of fines and enough demerit points to take my license off me twice. A bit extreme considering I've lost 8 points all to do with incorrectly displaying p-plates and defects, and no actual driving offences, but whatever, **** happens. Have also cut/grinded some **** and the car practically lays frame now. Also painted the wheels silver and gave the car a full 3 day detail, including a good wash, wolfs decon gel, clay, 3 stages of polishing and a couple coats of duragloss sealant. For a white car I think it scrubbed up alright

Also cleared the defects so am allowed to drive the car again, although I blew one of my air fittings so need to get a new one of those from somewhere before I can drive the thing.

After spending hours with heavy cutting polish I discovered there are actually scratches under the paint. The car has been resprayed at some point and either the prep work was not done well, or fillers have shrunk, leaving scratches all over the paint work I can not get out. Most of the car is alright, their mostly on the bonnet. Still, the car looks 100x better without all the swirls and oxidation.


For a white car, im very happy with the glossyness I now have
