So in news today found out that I now have a bent valve.
Due to the schrick bolt on the butterfly inside the manifold, looks like its gone through the chamber and getting a awesome metal on metal sound!
I'm kinda at my wits end with this car and now definately thinking of parting it out. I really can't see myself fixing the head at this stage.I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...Comment

Yeah and at the moment so far, its kinda depressing at the moment on what to do. I love the VR and driving it for the last 3 weeks brang back so many memories.

You name a time and a place steve and ill come round and give you a hand taking that head off. I have most of the tools even the valve spring compressor so im sure we can diy it like ive done with my car. A few gaskets and a new valve and ur all set!!!Comment

Bro im sure you can round up a crew to get the head off in an afternoon.
Send the head to the machinist, have it sorted and pieced back together the next week.
Bro just think to yourself how good it will feel and connect you to the car. (Better than taking a dump on Josh's head)Comment
