As usual, love your work Steve. Very neat install you have going there, and has given me some ideas for when I do mine again soon. Glad to see you have taken lots of pics makes explaining things so much easier

Nice work Steve, now you can do mine I can sympathise about the water leaks, i HATE water leaks!! Mine was coming in through the antenna mount, you might want to check that also. I think mine is ok now after a dose of sikaflex, hit it with the gerni and no penetration.....so far
2008 VRS Wagon. Yellow, very yellow!
Forever blowing bubbles.

Thanks Simon I checked already and found that it was coming from the left hand rear tail light it wasn't screwed in right! There are 3 bolts that hold those lights in my left one was really lose I could move it with my finger and didn't have to use a spanner nothing.
Looking good Steve! Camera phone pics during the cruise wasn't as clear so it's good to see them on a bigger scale on the computer!
It looks like our Dads' have a lot in common! Mine celebrated his 50th a few weeks ago as well and he has been a good help in some of my DIY tackles by helping and providing tools He amazes me with what he has in the shed.
Haha yeah my dad has been a big help full of knowledge and the tools that in the way he uses didn't think it was possible thumbs up to the golden oldies
Just got a phonecall from Adam at Detriot Customs, repairs are to go ahead but won't start for about another month which is cool cause he has given me money to go and buy new headlights, new front bar, new badgeless grille, new lip and I am still can't decide whether or not I want to shave the fogs and turns and incorporate them into the headlight with the r32 style lights
Decisions, decisions but I may get my engine work done first rat style and people will think the car is crap and then blow them away with the schrick

LOL's! nah, your car is too schmick (see what I did there...) to rat! turbo VR6 would be sweet as if you could afford it, apart from that. turbo it really. i think the only other option would be to turbo it...

LOL won't be turbo'd will be Supercharged thats for sure but I still can't work out what supercharger I want to use there are two out there the VF and BM one both are meant to be really good and there has been quite alot of good feedback from them off the tex, but thats not going to happen until mid next year!
If I get the r32 lights which I think I might I want to then incorporate the blinker in there and there would be no need for a fog light kit cause the r32 styled lights have projectors in them
do u have any pics of it having been done b4? I dunno if im a fan. I think the front indicators and fogs are part of the character of a mk3. They kind look over inflated without them
Parts are now coming in for my car mostly exterior stuff
New headlights are being shipped in from TMtuning, good people to deal with, got a US style centre cup holder for the middle of the car and inpro r32 style projectors with angel eyes and also incorporating the turn signals in them This will lead to shaving
Also with the help of a few forum members, Tim set me up with another VR lip the fourth 1(I swear this time it wasn't my fault sought of lol)
Aaron with his good mates at GermanAutoParts, even bigger help, new control arm bushing kit, and also braided brake lines WOOT WOOT.
At this rate I think I am going to do my engine work first and then the paint work so the car will sit like a POS for a few more months hehe.
