The bumper bolts at the lower duct are only two of about a total of 7-8 so I personally think you'll be fine. The important ones are the brackets on the side of the bumper that is located under the front guards as they align the bumper straight.
Because I've done this myself (and have not finished!) I've always had the bumper attached at the bracket and held on by only two or three bolts as I just couldn't be bothered screwing all of them back in
They're holding up fine (since October last year haha). Then again I'm pretty half-assed most of the time.

Ahh that didnt occur to me youre right! There are bolts on the upper and under side of the bumper in a central area to support it. So yeah i dont think its a huge concern afterall!Originally posted by rayray086 View PostThe bumper bolts at the lower duct are only two of about a total of 7-8 so I personally think you'll be fine. Well you know what I am going to say prick!Originally posted by peedman View PostOh steve u are gonna kill me, i just did an impulse buy. I wont give it away tho but u will be very very VERY jealous lol.
Anyways last night I went to work at my front grille, I can't believe I didn't get any pics of it but it is similar to what Raymond did to his. I guess the most hardest part was actually getting the front moulded right to cover the fogs. Sadly I didn't do the bottom air duct holes and will be using the plastic air ducts that I have now. It took me 45 mins to come to a decision about this and after looking through a PVW mag with Storman Norman Shums Audi TT on Bentley wheels I found a red mk3 with TH monos, it brang a smile as they looked pretty cool.
The whole shaved look would still be awesome and look phat but with the air ducts it will look that little more sportier
The complete shave look hasn't gone though and I will be hitting up Matt for a new front and rear bumper in the next 6 months for another look hopefully in time for DOVW but thats another story.
The only pic I got of last night was when I finished with my burnt hand

Its actually alot worser than it looks ARGHHH!!!
Also I went down today to drop it off at Detroit Customs where I saw my car primed up sitting outside and some parts where sanded back, I can finally see the light in the tunnel now.

The tip hahaha!

This may not look like much but the window is down after a new window reg from Matt that window hasn't moved in over 18 months old fart hehe.
More to come after tonight :]I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

Let's see some progress pics on the bumper!! Oh, and don't worry too much about the burnt finger - I had my fair share of them from the soldering iron too:

The first one was still fresh when I took the pic haha.
By the way, you were referring to this car right?
