    Anyone know where you can get a replacement ball only the stealerships only sell the entire relay shaft, or retrofitted something???

    I bought a refresh kit from veedubmachine ages ago. Cheap, fast shipping. Only problem was the cupped white plastic linkage (short one) broke after a few weeks of use so I ended up using my old OEM one which was still good.

    A cheap fix is to use a garden hose with the same inner diameter as the white cylinder thing. Will get you by without too much slop.
    Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
    Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

          i cut a rubber buffer like an old door stop and jammed it in and still going years later
          my dtrs was fixed same way in 2 mins!
          german - english translations esp vw documents!!

          Dismantling 95 Seat Cord'a and 73 campers and 74 dc van !!! Some Mk1 and t2 ant3 gear in my stash,,,

            I used a bit of rubber silicon hose that i found , didn't make heaps diffrence but still had a small gap ahah
            Build and learn, not buy and earn.
