  • Just call me stripey.

I got bored today, and decided the VR6 needed a new look.

    *spies black pinstriping tape*

Now i have hollow GT stripes running the full length of the car, except the front bumper. They are 6" wide, and run in a pair.

I have some pics, which i will post up later.

that is awesome. exactly what I want to do. 2 gt stripes down the length of the car (probably just to the bonnet) but slightly over to the passenger side.
one would be blood red, the other would be bright orange.

show us pics as SOON as you are done.

also give us an idea of how difficult it was, how much it cost and your methods...

Keep it quiet, but i used Black PVC Tape. Fairly stretchy, and easy to mould . keeping the strips the correct distance apart is the hardes part.

You know, i've never seen anyone banned for not posting pics.....

Pics should be done up today. Still unhapy with the roof, there is a slight breeze here, and the tape is being blown around.

Oh how nice it would be to have a garage. I remember changing my TIP recently and I live in a block of units right next to the beach. It was blowing an abosolute gale that day. Arghhhhhh!

                        Cant wait to see em!

Won't the UV light shrink and crack the PVC tape?

                          Cheers
