      I dont think many of us are prepared to do that

        get some cams if you want power early on. however, I believe you need to reprogram your chip, therefore you'll need a chip to go along with it. remember you can do pretty much anything depending on how big your wallet is.

            Back on Topic you blokes.

            The gearbox for an ABF 4 cylinder Cupra or 16v Golf 3 is an 02A gearbox and so is the VR6 box. They have different bellhousings, but if you used the 4cylinder box on the 6cyl you should get more acelleration.

            You would have to swop over the bellhousing, but thats it. TDI Golf 3s have a similar box which would work too.

            Check out the gear ratios and I think you will find that it would be a good answer. You would loose top end though.

              I took everything out of mine bar the dash, and still could'nt get a 14sec 1/4. Traction is just too hard to get.
              with a grippy track it would have been a 14..... or mabey a LSD diff center
