the window stopped working today and it is stuck down unfortunately! i expected this to happen eventually because going up and down it made a clunky clicking noise and sometimes went half the way back down automatically when it hit the top of the window frame. anyway it's stuck down and has no sound or response when i try putting it back up. i'm not really sure whether it's the regulator, motor or wiring. i thought it may be a fuse because it happened as soon as i got my radio working again which was down for ages. any thoughts/ideas on prices for a repair?

In short, motor draws too much current and blows the fuse, due to overload, probably due to the cables failing or getting stuck. I'd say your regulator is on the way out, cables make the clunking as they flex and bang against the inside of the door.... put some gaffer tape in the car so you can tape it up when it eventually fails.
Also check the top rubbers aren't obstructing it, and the window is going up square into the frame
