Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Spare parts wish list.....

I have the luxury at the moment of 2 donor VR6's in my possession, so thought I would ask what peoples opinions of any spare parts they would have in the shed if they could. Remembering these parts are all 2nd hand off these donor cars, so not what you would consider new etc.

So far I have kept 2 spare BBS rims and a spare VR6 lip, but dont want to go as far as to strip these cars as I will be offloading these as a pair very soon.

    Cheers
    Ross

I'd keep a whole car as woody said, infect I've got heaps of space so I'd probably keep the both of em haha.

As for parts, well I live rural so I'd be keeping front ends, but that is kinda stripping the car isn't it..
