  • Did a little bit of pre-spring house work...

    Hey all!

I went about fixing a few niggling problems, and installing the FK's i received like AGES ago!!!

AS you can see by the pics, my rear bump stops were shagged...So i bought some new ones, but had to trim those to fit the rear suspension... It's soo much nicer to drive now. I now need 4 people in the car over a big bump to rub!

And I've installed the FK's, looks the shiz... Still have to correctly aim them though. I've kept night driving to a minimum so far! By the way, fitment was sooooo easy!!! 30 min job for both, including wiring!

    Enjoy...
    SEAN.

I got them off ebay dudes!!! I think they came from germany, but make sure you get a RHD version. They also come with a TUV certificate if that makes any difference...???

I heard the TUV regulations are more strict than the ADR so if it complies with TUV, there should be no problems here.

Around $50 each from VW... If you're going to do it, try buying some online!!! MUCH CHEAPER!!!

Ouch! Tooleys at hornsby sell em for $64 a pair i think but when u look at germanautoparts.com its only $5 US each. Too bad they dont ship here under $100

I think i may have a lead on ebay.com, just waiting for shipping cost.
