I'd be lying if I said I wasn't getting ideas, but man - 340Km / hour, 2nd gear burnouts and bouncing off the limiter - I'd lose my licence in a day!

I cant find any info on it - except that its from the wagenwerks video. Its definately not a kinetics kit build or something, its got to be a stand alone to put that kind of power down.

I thought he said 240 , to do 340 in such a short distance would need a lot of power and traction which a fwd car doesnt have . 2nd gear burnouts in a fwd turbo car arent that hard .

Whats wrong with Kinetics turbo kits ?
I have 2 cars in the build at the moment both with these kits , and apart from the usual lhd/rhd issues the kits are a nice peice of work . One is a stage 1 that will run a United Motorsport tune and the other is a stage 5+ running stand alone .

To do 2nd gear burnouts in a fwd VR6T Id say 300 flywheel hp will be plenty !

240 - your right. Are both those kits you are installing going into mk3's?

Yes both white mk3 VR6s . One has stopped waiting for the fabricator to finish (been waiting 7+months !) http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/f47/...ead-16129.html

The other is getting the old engine out of the black VR6 : http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/f47/...ide-35289.html
before its turboed . The black one is getting a 24V Bora engine (its almost finished before it needs to get stand alone fitted) Should go pretty well considering it ran 14.8 with the inferior 12V engine !
