that looks like a lower control arm to me.

Try any good VW wrecker, or even VW. Mabey repco.

If you give it a good clean up there'll be a VW part number on it somewhere. Try VW for a price as well you may be surprised. Golfloon will have one for sure.

              Its me, Im responsible!!!

              Hi All

Just so you all know I have a fairly long history with VW but to this date this is by far the worse I have ever done to any of my cars.n:

I dunno how I did it but all I heard was snap (no crackle or pop) and that was it...

Spoke to my man Zee and he showed me to this site which I found cool how so many passionate VeeDub fans are willing to help thnx guys

Dis has been both the most embarrasing yet pleasant coz I got to meet a whole community...

BTW... Golf Loon, Im battling to get it on dude, was hoping u could share a few tips or handy hints I could use to get it fitted.

Hey man, Is your car auto? They are harder as the bolt fouls on the transmission. You need to undoo the rear engine mount bolt and loosten the front mount too, so you can lift the engine up.

Also lift the other side wheel up as the anti roll bar gets in the way too.
