so much win is that windsor blue aswell? I was under the impression youd had a black one for some reason. Get some forever black or something on those trims and this thing will be perfect

I have them. They should definately fit all mk3s.

Ride is a lot rougher then stock boat like cloud suspension. I found mine broke in a bit after a little while and became a little more tollerable. If you dont wind them right down theyre not to bouncy Take the bumpstops and helpers out and wind em right down, then your in for a treat. hahahah. I found putting the back ones up a bit actually made the ride a LOT nice,. I daily it with them lower then they are designed to go in the front (no helper springs and 2cm of thread left) and a heap of tread with helpers still in in the back, and that gives me no real rake really.

I expected the ride comfort to be much worse after reading a few threads on the net. At my height it's still pretty comfy, a bit bouncy - I'd say the same as my mate's stock dc2r. Handling is much better, no more body roll!

            thanks for the compliments!

              3 door FTW!

I thought the HT's were much stiffer than my JOM's at severe lows. But eh, it's "cheap suspension" cant be too critical/highly expecting

Yeah dude when we put them in my mates vr6, the handling of the car just brightens up and comes to life. No more body roll, and it doesnt feel like a boat. Vr6's come out stock very high for some reason..

Looks great mate, just paint the wheels i reckon

Oh and Sortofbigbj, i took the helper/damper spring out too for my back hehe.. heaps rougher ride Daily too !

its funny you say that bj, mine went the other way round.... when i first installed mine they felt great and then quickly went 2 sh#t . My whole interior now has rattles and my engine mounts are shot due to the rough & bouncy ride . I can't wait 2 rip mine out and swap them for something decent . Yeah sure if your want a cheap low and don't care about ride quality do it , but if i had my time over again i would man up and a get a decent setup .

                  anyways love the 3dr mate

interesting.. did you replace the mounts with the coilovers? if not theyre probably ****ed from the greatly increased harshness in ride and might be making it a little unpleaseant. Still, Id love some higher end coilovers to be honest.

sure did bro, been in Ray's car with HT and his are not as bad as mine... i put that down to the extra weight in the front end of the VR maybe??? or maybe mine are duds???

also been in mal's VR with JOM's and must say even though he roll's heaps lower than me his ride was actually more comfortable

fair enough. I thought I had read JOM are meant to be stiffer then hottuing? idk. its all confusing haha.

I'm quite interested in these: CXRACING 92-98 VW Golf MK3 Damper Coilover Suspension | eBay and if I didnt already have the hottunings would be getting myself a set Have read they ride just as good as KW's ect. Still for now theyre quite low on my priorities list.

Anyway so the thread hasnt been completely jacked, I still love the 3 door. haha
