ok so there's no doubt that it's body is in great condition & interior is fine.
it's machanically were the worry is.
ive had 2 stories. 1 from father(1st call son wasnt home). 2nd i called his mob.
father said he's had the car for about 3months, guy he bought from had it for 7yrs (some lawyer)(on carsales it says he's had it for 7yrs), when he bought it he felt that the clutch was slipping !!!!!, so he bought a new one and has replaced ...... (exterior bits). He is only selling cause he HAS a new audi NOW.
son said (surprised him when i called an said you bought the car, an 3months later your selling it) no ive had it for 6months (from he's reluctant voice, i could tell he was lieing), because my parents payed for it, i have to pay them .... and i still ow them a little over 2k. because of uni i need the money, so i thought ill sell, buy somthing cheaper an do that up as a project.
ehhhhhhhh you's are full of sh*t, i dont think he can afford a newer $30k car, it's probably his dads(it'll be on his drive way when I go check it out).
So the big mystery is what could cause the sensation of something slipping, knowing the clutch is new ????
O an the father said i can get it inspected which means the CV Joints, axles should be fine ??
So possibilities: clutch fork, ball joints, wheel bearings

O an the car is in VIC, an i carnt check it out till mi old man gets back.(2-3wks)
Matt im hoping you can shine some light on this please.
