Polo 1.9tdi G/box in a VR6

Hey guys a friend of mine wants to buy a Polo1.9 tdi 6speed g/box for his VR6.
will it fit straight on or does the bell housing need to be chancged? has anyone done the swap before?

Ex: MK1 citi 1.4i 140db 64kw
Ex: '96 VR6
Current: Mk1 Citi .:R 1.8i 90kw
Current: Mk1 78 2door narrow bumper 1.8 16v Kr Project

Doesnt fit. Bellhousing is definately different, probably other stuff too.
