Had a brief quiet period last week, so managed to make this.

Basic specs are : 149,000ks on Engine and less on shell. 17" Mags with Goodyear Directional Rubber, VR6 interior, seats in great nick with near perfect bolsters.
Working ABS! New heater core, new crossover pipe and thermostat housing, new waterpump. Just had full service, ready to hit the traffic.
Standard exhaust, airbox and mechanicals.
Cross drilled front brake rotors and new rear pads.
I also have VW2800 plates waiting at the RTA.
Also has brand new headlining. All hard work is done, ready to drive and enjoy

This is the 3rd one we have built, I sold the last 2 in one day each for $9k.
A good 5 door VR6 with everything changed and fully working will cost $6-7k. Thus, the premium for the 3 door is a couple of grand.
It comes with a years rego, and wheels and sick number plate, so who wants it?? $9000

got to see this today and lucky enough to also be allowed for a test spin. Its now running k-sport coilovers and the stock bbs vr6 rims and looks 100% better than the pictures above.

in terms of performance...wow put the foot down and hold on! this thing tears and managed to reach 100km/h very comfortably and quickly! coilovers make this sucker stick. In comparison to my old vr6 4 door its a lot faster, handles 10xbetter and just looks balls!

matt once the mk1 gets back from the panel shop and im more certain on its future i may have a proposal for you!

My son has been making noises about replacing his car and a VR6 is on his short list. This one looks the goods, although the timing isn't right. I'll get him to have a look anyway.

If you want cheaper, go buy a 4 door with broken everything.

A rare car that's fully sorted is worth the extra $$$.
