  • Scrubing on rear wheels

Hey guys, my VR6 seems to be scrubbing the edge or the wheel arch's, can see a mark on both the tyre and the Plastic, (Edge of wheel arch), and has melted a bit of the plastic. Is this a regular thing for vr6's? And how should i go about fixing it? Either trim the inside of the wheel arch back, its just plastic. Or maybe my back shocks are dead?.
BTW i dont think the rims are stock, will get pics asap.

Will certainly help (pics that is).

If you can have a look at your suspension setup too to see if its different, plus the markings on the wheel (particularly width and offset (ET)) as well as tyre size. that will help greatly.

When running a lowered Mk3 on wider than stock wheels with a lower offset you will need to lip/roll your rear arches.

        Pics will definitely help.

If you can get some other information:
        Wheel width
        Wheel offset
        Tyre size
        Suspension modifications

        That will help also.
