The tdi will be the daily in the new year. Cabby will be for sale in a couple months probably, and the mk 2 will be getting some love over summer, in preparation for sedf. eventually though it'll have to go, as it'll be making room for a mk 1 (Ideally)
It'll most probably end up with wheels and coils and what not. Although for the time being, I'm going to concentrate on the mk 1 and 2, and try not to mod the tdi too much. Yet. need to spend money on repairs first. First mod will be a short shifter though! cable change is ace, but I was never one for rowing boats.
I was doing my cable change conversion and boy was it a pain in the ass especially installing the b&m shifter! Ive also bought the gruven side to side so shifting should be sweet.
Unfortunately there arent many options these days jarred as dieselgeek stopped making their one.
I've never actually seen this colour on a mk 3 before. Tis dark grey metallic, but not sure of the exact code. I'm yet to poke around and grab more details off the car yet. I'll also grab some more photos soon too.
Wow that looks good as its all assembled so u dont have to take apart your current shifter and reuse the old bushings/springs which u have to do for the b&m kit.

haha pedro, just wait till it's looking awesome too! I'm pretty sure that's the one that Tim had installed, if so, money well spent I reckon.
Can't wait to get stuck into it though. Plenty of loose ends to tidy up, and things to fix. Gave iut a wash this afternoon at Josh's, and well the paint needs a good detail, as it's got more than it's fair share of minor imperfections.
The economy should be pretty good. i'm hoping in the 6's around town, which should make it an ideal daily,
Garbon, 02A is a model of gearbox. It has a cable change gearbox, where as the 020 (standard on mk 3 1.8 and 2Ls) have rod change shifters. 02A also has a bigger clutch, amongst other things.
