Oh dear.... head gasket?

I degreased my engine before I did my rocker cover gasket, and the oil leak from up there appears to have stopped. Today though I noticed a thick sludgy buildup of oil at the head/block line on the passengers side beneath the joiner for the heater hose. I think it probably didn't get removed when I degreased it as its kind of hidden.

I'm just wondering if its likely to be coming from between the head and block or if it would have collected there after dribbling down from the rocker cover gasket leak that was above there?

Yeah its does dribble down there.

The water pipe that comes off the side of the head can crack and this can weap.

I recentley replaced mine and it fixed the coolant leak I had!

Yeah I've got a new pipe joiner for that side and the radiator hose one on the front of the block, might do them on Saturday
