Ive never seen my fan turned once ive turned the ignition off and it has never overheated. I would make sure that it is definately the fans so u dont pay to get it fixed and it ends up being something else.

A good radiator flush wouldnt hurt, when was the last time it was done?

i flushed the whole system with degreaser as i had some gunk in there when the oil cooler went on the previous owner. i even tool the radiator out to clean it.

is there a temperature sender or is that just another name for the fan switch on the radiator....

going to pick up the car tonight from girlfriends sisters place....and im gonna check it out....

are you still having issues with the rear window?

one of mine is jammed up due to the regulator dying, to get the window up, get some pliers and a chamois, place the chamois over the glass to protect it and pull the window up and jam it with some rubber wedges.

its about $150 or so for a new regulator.

            Hey MK3

When you changed your water pump, how did you get the old one out?

I need to change mine as the seal is leaking but can see what i need to do to remove it
Everyone is saying drop the motor but how?
Also do new waterpumps come with the pulley & if not are they difficult to remove

            Cheers

Hey Mark I took mine to Seb at EuroAutomotive and he did it as I didn't have the time and it was quite urgent to get it done. Maybe he can shed some light on it?

                Thanx Steve

                Does it take long?
Also did he have the pump or you supplied?

                Cheers
