How are people dealing with the "under reading" speedo's when putting larger wheels on?

It can be dealt with rather easily by basically fitting on low profile tyres. With KI11Z's example, he's running a 35 on 17's. That's basically a few millimetres off the stock wheel+tyre setup. You will always have to make a compromise when plus-sizing wheels, and that's through low-profiled tyres that are often accompanied by a harsher ride.

Edit: BTW Alex, how wide are those wheels anyway???

I bought them thinking they were 8inch wide but they're a meisly 7 though the spacers on the front give it a meaner stance + help them clear the big reds . . . Cheers . . . oh and the 225/35 tires are a better match than the 215/40'z when up against each other . . .

Balloony? hmmm . . . they did struggle getin the 225'z on the 7inch rim lol, suckas! the side walls are a lot more squared up the the 215'z . . .

New, that's a pretty damn good price, though quality might be questionable, but that's just my take on it. How big are they?
