Mate, i hate to tell you this, but unless your rotors have been replaced with aftermarket items previously, you will probably be up for new rotors all around as well...
The rotor material on these cars was very soft, and the pads had a lot of friction material, so by the time the pads needed to be replaced, the rotors were on their last legs...
That said, you can pick up local aftermarket rotors that are made from a much harder material, similar to cars built with the Australian market in mind for a very reasonable price. I just used a 'harder' set of generic rotors and Bendix pads. It stops very quickly with great pedal feel, but i do get a tiny squeek very occasionally when the brakes are cold. I don't know what you might find in the way of performance pads and rotors for the old Mk3's, perhaps try EBC http://www.ebcbrakes.com.au/
