Just realised these arnt ment to be used with lowering springs, I want to get eibach pro kit springs so can anyone recomend shocks/struts to go with these springs on a daily VR6?
Had the black Bilsteins on the Mk3.5 Cabrio. Nice if you wish to maintain OEM ride comfort. Would be lousy with Eibachs as you need a firmer damper when you use higher rate springs.

Anyone know whether it would be cheaper to import or see if someone in aus can get them?
The Australian distributor is Heasemans at Tempe. They are very knowlegeable but also like to charge for that knowlege. If you ring around for prices they will know & be a pack of smartfarts when you ring them. They also will not warrant self-imported Bilstein products.
Ask Manaz on this forum what his experiences were. Self-import is heaps cheaper but might also mean self-warranty (ie: ship back to place of origin at your own expense).
