VR6 Heater Removal

Ive got to replace my heater core in my VR6 as well. Also I have to replace my airbag ECU, Ive been told that the heater core has leaked into the airbag ECU which is directly below the core.

Also what kind of time frame is need to complete this job and does the steering wheel have to come out?

I budjeted on 2 days, just to be safe, but its doable in one. The steering wheel does need to come off, be carful with the airbag trigger wire thats spooled withing the steering wheel, if it comes unraveled, its a pain to get back in.
