I'm not sure, but I think all our Mk3's were Candy White. Check your boot, there should be a sticker with the paint code. Mine is LB9A (Candy White).

          Nice comprehensive list!

Yeah Ray I'm leaning more towards the Candy White as the Alpine is more Creamier than the Candy one!

Which one would be the colour concept green?

The sticker in my boot is very very faded.

The boot sticker has an exact copy inside the service book if you still have it. Failing that a trip to VW with your chassis number would probably allow the parts dude to tell you what colour it left the factory.

I'm not sure but I hear the American users on VWVortex calling it Surf Green. However, just did a Ctrl+F here but couldn't find it Try giving the Vortex a search on surf green; you might be able to find a pic or two (would do it for you here but I'm capped )

Being a colour concept, I'm sure you can dig up the colours somewhere!

Yah still got the service manual. The only thing that resembles a paint code is "LD6E". Which isnt on that list!

Hey MattyT, I can read my sticker! Our cars are LD6E (not listed above or in the link)

                            MattyT,

Maybe your car is a very rare colour....a rare colour concept.....as i dont even think there was a green colour concept in the UK....i havent seen one anyway.....i would look into that.....strange its not on the list! that paint scratch website is good!

Mine is "Indian Red Pearl clearcoat" i knew the paint work changed colour with the light....one minute it looks red, othertimes maroon, sometimes mauve/purple.....

Matty are u sure ur car isn't LD6T, as this is my colour and i am sure that it was a concept colour along with the jazz blue and the other two i can't remember the names of? i know that the electronic green is rare but u can get paint for it.
