Finally I have a VR6

Have landed myself a very straight black VR6 in great condition. Have had it for a couple of weeks and am loving driving it around. Had a nice long drive to Philip Island on the weekend, went really well on the highway. Put new tyres on as part of the r/w, went for Bridgestone Potenza R001 Adrenalin, nice mix of performance vs ride and road noise. May be tempted to trade up the 15 inch wheels in a year or so but for now very happy with stock standard. Some pics below.

Keen to drive the car for a while before anything major. Do need a new stereo and some roof racks. Seems like the Thule racks are the ones to cause the least damage to the car. Need to carry surfboards. Will look at 17 inch wheels in about a year or so, can't go too wild from the start
Would really like to go to an event and have the car on show, especially if its polished up nicely, would be a real blast. How do I find out about Vic events?

Long term would like to update exhaust, springs and possibly ride height. Have been hanging out for one of these for some time, all being well its will be a long journey.
Saw a very nice Blue VR6 at Volkspower, bit out of my budget but amazing what you can do.
