  • Found a pic of how my car used to look

Found this somewhere. this is how my car used to look before new lights, debadged grille and fog lights removed. Looked quite nice
    Note. Clean wheels too.
You can see what the 17" BBS wheels look too.
I gave my car the mother of all details today. Looks superb! More photos to come!!

Love how your Golf used to look! The suspension drop and the clean BBS looks heaps good. I reckon you should stick with the silver! Get it thoroughly cleaned one day and work in a layer of wax.

By the way, you still have those fogs and middle reflector lying around?

The car now looks identical except the grille etc.. and I gave my wheels a massive clean with wheel cleaner yesterday and they look brand new so im keeping them like that!

One of the fogs got cracked so I got rid of both of them..sorry

Im thinking of going back to smoked E-codes similar to yours ray ray also. And losing the M3 mirrors in favour of DTM cup mirrors. The car had the mirrors when i bought it.

            Nice look!

Do you ever have problems with the 17s rubbing? Seems like they just squeeeeeeze in.

            PS. remus = yum

I like where you're heading The Mk4 look-alike headlights suit your car at the moment, but the smoked dual chambers would look better You can't tell that I'm biased can you?

I dont really get any rubbing at all they fit quite nicely underneath evern with 215's on them. I have never seen these wheels on any other car before and nohing really comes up when I search for them. They are called BBS RN. They are similar to the original 15" BBS' so they suit the car.
And never gone against a rexy, but they are very quick

Heres another pic taken on a recent cruise.

If you look in my gallery link below it has some more photos but I will take some more on that angle as it is probably the MK3's most flattering angle.

they look similar to what come standard on Subaru liberty B4. centre bore on them is slightly too small tho from memory. Check see if they have had that modified. and that will give u an idea. I think theyre pretty high offset too. like mid 40 to 50 or something. most subarus have high offset.

Yeh they look similar to the B4 but have a slightly different pattern and a different lip as well. People know about them on Vortex, maybe they were sold in Australia in the early 90's and discontinued here.
