VR6 Torque Wrench Settings - Alloy Valve Cover/ Tappet Cover

Hi there All,

I am in the process of replacing the tappet cover gasket in my 94 vr6 golf and noticed that the previous one did not have all the nuts tensioned down correctly and probably led to it leaking in the first place. Does anyone have the torque settings for the aluminium type cover.

Hand-tight with a 1/4" ratchet..If it feels like you're tightening too much, you probably are.

Not sure of the real number though
