DIY - can't get enough of it!

My latest creation (spurred on by the ridiculous prices that requires one of these to reach our doorsteps).

    Ta da!

Up close it's far from perfect, that's why I painted it back to textured black. I would have preferred it all colour-coded, but it would amplify the imperfections. Improvisation!

Thanks! All up, probably cost me ~$75 + many hours. Bought myself a Dremel along the way, but I'm not gonna factor that in cos I'll be using it in other DIY's too hehe.

                            Thanks all!

I'm writing a DIY atm for my blog so I'll chuck it up on to the main post once I'm done

Haha that's what I'm talking 'bout! Nothing more satisfying than making something with your own hands, then standing back and admiring the effort.
I'm really paranoid it might just fall off one day though. If I get to do one again (which I hope not, PEDRO), I'll definitely do things differently and properly - i.e. welding instead of using epoxy bonding

I don't know what I'll be doing next, but I'm quite happy with how it looks at the moment. Less show and more 'go' hopefully, but I'd like to learn how it all works first!

Haha what my Dad said also. I think I'll be craving for the badge again once I've had this on for a while though.
