  • HAH44 Update

HAH44 (Annie) is in the spray shop, getting a total repray, still silver, new smoked fog ights coming and smoked side marker lights, she will come out like new, just the way Chris always wanted her to be, sad not seeing her in the garage, we miss her. Sad but exciting
We brought home her Bonnet & Guard they are now on the wall of the garage, will post pics soon.
We shall go and pick up her BBS wheels so that they can go in and be cleaned up.
She will not only run perfect but look perfect too
We hope to have her ready for the VW Nationals and enter her in the show & shine as Chris wanted to last year. Fingers crossed she's ready in time.
Can anyone tell us if we can enter her in Chris's name?
While she's gone we hope to get LUC34 running- next project.

Looking good, will you be driving it down to Sydney, or packing it up and driven/train/shipped down?

We are hoping to to trailer her down, a friend has offered us the loan of a tailer, we have a diesel Hiace van which we hope will be up to the drive and tow, don't want to risk driving her after doing all the work ,plus don't know how the NSW police treat her with regards wheels etc, also I don't think our old bones could handle the hard drive for that amount of hours, haha, we feel like two Noddy's

Chris loved his karting, only stopped when they shut down the Gold Coast track, started at 14 in Junior Nat light then at 16 went straight into Rotax light, he did really well in both, hence approx 70 trophies. Beautiful clean driver, Yes always drove a Arrow kart, he saved for his first Kart himself. Really good bonding and quality time with his Dad who was his pit crew, they were away every weekend racing- had some great times together along with dissapointments. lots of good stories and memories. made lots of great friends.

Well- the wheels have been fully restored and polished, OMG they are beautiful.
They are going to look soooo good on HAH44 when she comes back from her respray.
                        Will finish her off beautifully.

You better seal that polished metal up nice and quick so it doesn't go dull! Wouldn't want to ruin such an amazing finish!

We were advised not to put a lacquer coat on them as it cracks, as they will be buffed regularly and kept in the garage, rarely used, they are better left as is, if we've been wrongly advised please let us know, thanks
