Unevenly worn tyres, graunchy synchromesh on second gear and worn-out shock absorbers are all evidence of abuse. Engines are fairly unburstable,

then there's that and it does have bald tyre.

            nah mate no offence taken
the obvious has already been layed out
it just depends on you to take in the info and decide for yourself
in my opinion the vr6 is not a very good first car
being a 16 year old car you are guaranteed to run into problems

I'll agree with that statement!! Moving from Ibiza's to VR6s is a world of difference. You could spend the cost of an engine replacement on the VR6 and buy an Ibiza.

2 litre MK 3 Golf is the way to go hands down.

mate ring the seller up and organise a time and inspect the car. how hard is that? then YOU decide if u want the car or not.

                    Dude, relax on the posts!
This car will cost you a LOT of money!
Let's be reasonable here and do a quick calculation...

                    CAR - $2500
                    TRANSPORT TO QLD - $500
                    FIX FOR RWC - $500
                    NEW TYRES - $800
                    REGO - $500
                    INSURANCE - $500

                    = $5,300 MINIMUM!!!!!!!!

Do you have that much cash?
If so, just buy the car mate, just don't come to us with a sob story because a fuel pump costs $600 (Seriously!)

Nah, too powerful! The cops banned P platers driving them because they're drift weapons!

why would it cost 500 to fix up for rego?

I'll just get a free tyre from here or

                          2500 car
                          500 shipping
                          500 rego
                          300 insurance
                          150 tyres

                          too much.

                          I forfeit

its too much. but so tempting a vr6, guys
