I don't see why the big fuss about big brakes? In most cases (the VR6 being one of them) big brake upgrades aren't really an improvement on a street car. Total waste of money just to fill up behind the wheels. Just get some good slotted rotors and paint your calipers a nice colour if you are going to worry about that, if you ask me.

I think my car stops well enough, the painted brakes look good - might go that way considering the car is the BUS!!!! I was carting my parent's dog to the vet in it today! There is a trailer full of rubbish to be towed to the tip with it! Etc!

I've had it slammed and all that happened was the sump got totally destroyed one time when Matt was driving it...I'll try and find some photos and post, looked fabulous, totally useless car though...

I painted the calipers and had slotted rotors in my Polo ($80 a pop), they looked good.

Any way - these bits have arrived - i'll put them on when i get my new front bar (which is in Hobart with my engine - another thing to be towed by the VR)
