    Hey fellas,

    Got the chain kit from GAP, just wanted to know if you need to replace gaskets at all?

    You should but the correct sealant from vw. $60 a tube, but it will never leak.

    Sealastic will leak. definately

          You might as well get the gaskets from gap as well for piece of mind and torque the inlet and rocker up to specs.

            Well job complete... Guides and chains changed and HD clutch installed. Did the job with the engine in and all went well. I had a broken upper guide, the plastic had snapped around the bolt. So good weekend and learn't alot.
