ey guys the thermostat has gone on my vr6 do you guys know how much will it cost to fix it? cheers as i need it fixed asap

Hi, it cost me about $90 for a thermostat and fan switch from my local dealer. Dont know how much fitment would be

I doubt it just the thermostat. More likely to be the thermostat housing and crossover pipe (crack pipe).

Do a search on here, it is common on VR6s.

such a stupid idea making them plastic. The always get brittle a crack. The best way to check is to start it gets hot past half way the fans should come on if they dont its the switch. but visually look around the front of the motor for leaks
