just checkd out a vr6.....

so yeh, went to look at a vr6 at north sydney. has sunroof, leather but colour is maroon

1st owner since new, but the engine bay is all dirty. and i noticed few plugs are gone and their wiring is cut.

gonna wait abit to see if any others pop up for sale..

How much were they asking for and what year was it? It seems VR's are getting harder to buy these days since the majority are aging and not kept in good nick.

Maroon is a crap colour. Guy had a lovely Audi V8 he couldn't shift purely for that reason. Tatty VR6's fetch sub $5K at auction. Even a nice one should be $8K private imo. With nice mk2's under $5K now I don't think that is unrealistic.

VR6s are ageing and not well. Most have been flogged or crashed, or both.

Email Oli, his brother has a nice black 1997 model one for sale.

I see tatty ones for $4k-5k and nice ones for $9.

People are starting to ask crazy prices for VR's. i dont know if i'd take the 16v over a vr6.... VR just makes such a good noise!

Aint nothing wrong with a Maroon VR6...take a look at my one. I think any metallic painted VR looks nicer than any flat colour, especially white...

not a fan of white cars, abit plain... all my previous cars have been blue.. but wont be able to find a blue vr6 dont think lol..
