  • EBC Greenstuff pads???

I'm looking for a set for my mk2 upgrade to 280mm. I'm using VR6 280mm calipers and need the pads to suit but want Greenstuffs.
I tried HI-TECH (EBC distributors in Perth) but the guys there are just totally useless when it's anything other than holden or ford and they'd rather stand there and moan than open the book and help

Anyone know FOR SURE what the EBC number is for these pads? Or where to get them locally?

    Cheers,
    Wade

The 280mm part number for the pad should be 929440636
The other possible one could be 929440951 but I am pretty sure that is the later 288mm pads

I was looking at EBC Green Stuff for my car last month, but in the end got talked out of it by alot of people, ended up with Bendix Ultimates for half the price and they are great. Very low dust, and good performance. Took them to the track last week with no problems, no fading

+1 for GSL, using their pads on my VR6 288mm brakes and I'm happy with them.

I bought my Brembo pads through this crowd and they are also a seller of EBC, maybe give them a try, cost for freight was around $20

I have greenstuffs sitting here for when my standard pads go for 280mm. From memory they were ~$140 each axle ordered locally.

                        Those are EBC part numbers?

Yea that's the other thing, Green Stuff = over double the price of everything else

Mine were EBC numbers. I guess it's market hype that might drive them up a bit too....

I paid way, way too much for my EBC greenstuffs. They're a nice enough pad but they dust up HEAPS - pretty glad I've got black rims to start with!

Where did you get yours? and how much may i ask? We had a set of 288's for your car in the shop we could've sold you cheap! They were the ones hi-tech mistakenly sent us!!

All decent pads will make dust. Its a fundamental necessity unless you like huge shuddering.

And coons88, yea they are the EBC numbers, but no they aren't over twice the price of everything else. Depends where/how you buy mate
