Mk3 Fuel gage

hey All ,

Im looking at buying a 1996 Mk3 Golf CL and thought i might seek some advice here before sealing the deal.

the car is quite good besides some damaged paint on the roof and a broken fuel gage(not such an issue as my motor bike didnt have one).

I was just wondering if anyone knows roughly how much it set me back to get this fixed/replaced.

It's going to depend on what's broken. Could be the clocks, the sender or the wiring.

Golf Loon will have the parts you need for sure.

Thanks Gavin i brought the car today ended up getting it for $3k and am going to take it to a mechanic to find out what exactly is broken with it then go from there.
