Hay guys just wanted to see what you all were using in your cars.

I would like to get your opinions.

What oil and oil filters are you using in your cars?

    What plugs are you using?

    What brake pads?

    What coolant?

    Any replies would be great.

        Before :

        Oil : Fuchs 15-40
        Filter : Hengst
        plugs : 101000033aa then 101000051aa

        Once car is finished :

        Oil : probably Fuchs 15-50 ???
Filter : will be running a dry sump set up with external mesh filter similar to Oberg
Plugs - Not sure of heat range yet
pads - ATE , the parachute will do most of the slowing down
coolant : Not sure if Im going to run cooling yet

I don't think that you can buy G11 or G12 now
I have heard that only G12+ is available.

the new penrite everyday oil looks to be good value at about 25 bucks for 5 litres.

methinks that $85 for 5L of oil seems ridiculous for my little hatchback!

I use Magnatec too. Its good oil and synthetic is a bit thin for Mk2s and 3s especially if they are a little worn.

Magnatec doesnt strike me as the right oil to use. Perhaps its all the marketing BS about it being able to "stick" to engine parts.
