Just found out my friend owns this!!!! (mmm....GTI!)

went to a BBQ on the weekend, I knew a friend from the uk imported her golf.....my mk2 was parked next to a golf.....



and I thought that mk4 was her's...oh how wrong i was...


This was her little run around,







3 door 2.0 GTI 8v, great little car, she had alot of problems with VicRoads as they kept telling her it was a GL not a GTI but when she told them it was a GTI they said its a modified GL so needs and engineers report!!! took her 5 months to get it on the road and ALOT of messing about!

Its a great little car, nice to see another GTI blasting around Torquay

Good to see another one here.
It is always possible to do a bigger engine conversion into that car when she is bored with it. VR6 would be easy!
Nice to see some Poms bringing cars with em, I have spoken to 5 or 6 in the last 2 weeks
