  • Angel Eye headlights

I'm thinking of upgrading to these in the not-to-distant future:

Hella CELIS angel eye w/projector bulb.

So I'm wondering, are they ADR compliant? The last thing I want is a canary, wouldnt go well with the rest of the car

If anyone knows, or can point me in the right direction that would be swell!

Although the lights are probably not ADR compliant, my suggestion would be to run them anyway. Reasons being; Hella make OEM equipment and probably issue a TUV certificate.

If you do get a defect notice with the lights, you then have the option of taking the car with your TUV certificate to a engineer to get it cleared. As far as I know, TUV standards are the best, and most engineers will agree and pass you.

Good luck on the purchase and install!!!

if they meet ECE requirements and are stamped as such with an approval number i believe they are automatically considred ADR compliant. ud think anything from Hella should be fine. Id be sceptical at cheaper brands. I have some cheapies. they look fine and are virtually identical to the hella design. but the light output it pretty ordinary

              Cheers everyone for your inputs

That TM tuning site is AWESOME. Soooo many great looking parts!

I agree with Tim that anything from Hella should pass the grade. Infact, there's already Hella smoked rear taillights on the car which look completely stock! I didnt even notice until after I bought it and driven it home.

It doesnt really bother me how much they are, I expect high quality mods to be pretty exxy.

Finally, no idea where I'll get them from yet. Somewhere in aust would be nice. If I have to get em from overseas then so be it but i'd rather by them locally if I can.
