  • VR6 OEM SACHS Clutch

My clutch is getting pretty tired and am looking around at prices. Best I have found is US$150 plus shipping (should be US$60-70, but haven't got a quote yet). I hope to have it landed for under AUD$280. This is for pressure plate, disc, throw-out bearing, and alignment tool. Is this a good price? I have'nt enquired locally yet as it is usually more expensive for such things. If I am able to buy locally for around this price, does anyone suggest who I go to?
    Thanks in advance

Seems OK to me, ou could get one for about 75-80 quid in the UK so I don't think that is too far out.

I usually buy LUK clutches, which are OEM, locally for $280.

If you look on ETKA, T4 5cylinder clutches are the same as VR6, but sometimes cheaper Obviously suppliers think that VR6 owners are rich.

          I installed a LUK clutch on the 16v, which is basically a VR6 one..got it from gsfcarparts.com.

apart from paying brokerage fees cause they didn't say whether it was new or used, and customs needed to know...

I paid 47.50 pounds for my clutch kit (LUK disc, pressure plate and throw out bearing) plus shipping...

I can't tell you exactly how much it would be for a clutch kit alone, but for a clutch kit, cam belt, head bolt set, ignition lead set and conrod bearings, shipping to melbourne was 74 pounds... Total cost of 207.20pounds...or roughly $500 shipped
