VR6 Side Skirts

Hi All,
the black side skirt that runs from the front wheel to the back under the doors has worn through and it looks pretty crappy. I've been told to remove it, I'd destroy it. Has anyone removed one of these?

Lie on the road next to your car. There are a few cross head screws at the bottom to undo. The top literally pulls outward from the body. A firm tug!

Have you a replacement lined up? or are you gonna go without em?

The place I used to get my parts from said that they get destroyed when you remove them, I was thinking of just cutting the plastic coating off and painting it with a good quality paint.. I may just take you up on your offer for a run out to Camden I'll call first of course though...

Obviously they dont know how to take em off. I have sold at least 3 sets of second hand ones to satisfied customers, you just need to know how.
